In particular, our programs in these areas fulfill our mission of offering students practical experience alongside professionals in the field, done in a way that’s challenging, interactive and always fun. In Panama, you can learn the craft of taking beautifully composed photographs as well as digital editing and production techniques. Chronicle howler monkeys in the rainforest, fascinating people in the streets of Panama City, new and old world architecture, or gorgeous sunsets. Then, assemble a professional portfolio of your images. Our journalism program in Thailand and Laos gives you an opportunity to shadow in-country journalists as you learn all about investigative reporting, interviewing sources, and writing compelling feature articles. Programs like these certainly offer you the kinds of experiences that look good on your resume, but more importantly they inspire a lifelong passion to continue creating and exploring.
