Wildlife biology

Students come face to face with some of the world’s most precious environments and creatures through Broadreach wildlife biology adventures. Working directly with dedicated conservationists and ecological researchers to understand and examine protected animals and habitats, students will gain in-depth insights about biodiversity and conservation – and how critical they are to the health of our planet.

All Broadreach study abroad adventures are led by professionals in the field with a passion for guiding students through hands-on learning experiences.

During Broadreach wildlife biology adventures, students will:

  • Conduct hands-on research and biological surveys alongside professional conservationists and researchers.
  • Learn about and help implement conservation initiatives.

  • Gain direct experience with the animals and environments they are studying.

  • Hike, snorkel and explore breathtaking environments.

  • Live and work with a small group of like-minded students.

  • Perform meaningful service projects in remote and beautiful parts of the world.


Wildlife biology summer programs

All students have the opportunity to earn college credit through Lesley University. By traveling and working within teams in unparalleled environments ranging from the rainforests of the Amazon and the Galapagos Islands to the shores of Southern Italy, students gain appreciation for these magical environments and develop compassion for the wildlife supported by them – ultimately understanding their own ability to have a positive impact
