Open your eyes to the colorful cultures of Costa Rica and Nicaragua. Open your heart to a local communities. Open your mind to Spanish instruction laced with mind-blowing adventure.
We begin our intensive studies with a whitewater rafting expedition down the thrilling Pacuare River. Followed by a hike to an indigenous village as we fly through treetops on a zip line canopy tour. Take a breather on a weeklong home stay with a gracious Costa Rican family, eager to speak Spanish with us and welcome us into their living rooms. For our final adventure, give back to local schoolchildren in Los Munonces, a Nicaraguan village near the coast. Grab a paintbrush a local school. Work to improve the school’s working conditions. Lead the entire community to a better life.
“I will never forget swimming under the waterfall, meeting the chief, staying with a family, and playing games with orphans. ” — Mary Katherine Smith, Spartanburg, SC
