They are experiential educators and experts in their field from PhD’s to professional scuba instructors, Royal Yacht Masters and wilderness professionals. Each has a dedication to educational travel and a passion to lead, mentor and offer teens valuable insights into the world around them.
Meet Nate:
Not only does Nathan lead our summer programs, he also works in the Broadreach office year-round as one of our hard-working Program Coordinators! Nathan came to Broadreach from Panama City, Florida with loads of experience in outdoor education as a program leader for courses in Costa Rica, Belize, Australia and New Zealand. He has also taught outdoor education to teens in North and South Carolina, Michigan and California. When he isn’t working in the office or leading trips, Nathan loves to be outside surfing, climbing, fishing, diving, hiking and sailing. Nathan has led diving programs in the Caribbean, our Wilderness and Traditional Medicine course in Belize, the Arc of the Caribbean sailing program, and most recently Primate Studies which allowed him to spend the summer with his students playing with monkeys in Costa Rica and Panama. Broadreach is proud to have him as a part of our team and the office misses him while he’s away having fun on our trips!
