Skippers sail a yacht and teach basic sailing skills as they guide middle or high school students on an adventure through the Caribbean. Skippers are paired with another instructor and supervise students 24/7, facilitate group dynamics, assist students with cooking and cleaning duties, support scuba training and other program activities. Depending on the program, skippers will be paired with a marine biologist, dive instructor or first mate. Students and instructors live aboard the yacht for the duration of their program, so experience living in close quarters is a plus.
Instructors are expected to be flexible team players that foster a fun, safe environment for students to thrive and experience new places, cultures and activities.
