Embarking on an international learning adventure with a group is a unique experience. It can be an incredibly rewarding and exciting opportunity to build new relationships, have common experiences and gain new skills as a group. However, preparing and facilitating travel can be daunting.
That’s where Broadreach comes in! We’ve been planning and leading international programs for over 27 years to more than 50 destinations. We have the local connections, trained instructors, risk management protocols, and 24-hour support that allows our partners to focus on and embrace the experience.
Our customized approach allows you to create the program you want, at the budget you need, for the group you have. From school approval to pre-departure paperwork all the way through debriefing your return home, we’re here to help.

Since 1993, Broadreach has led students in active and highly facilitated small-group experiences abroad that encourage growth, teamwork, relationship building, inclusivity and responsibility while traveling. We create mind-blowing summer programs for teens to actively learn, explore and build skills through hands-on discovery and interaction with the world’s oceans, ecosystems and wildlife.
Most custom programs range from about 10 – 16 days, but we’ve planned trips anywhere from 8 to 30 days. We work with each group to create a program that fits works for their needs.
In our experience, the ideal group size is about 10-14 students. Most custom programs have 1 or 2 accompanying adults (who travel free!) in addition to a Broadreach instructor. That said, we’ve created programs for small groups of 8 as well as groups of over 30 people!
Yes! Each Broadreach partnership program is customized to the specific group and year. That said, some program planners find inspiration by exploring Broadreach summer adventures while others come with their own program ideas that we help bring to life.
