Seasonal Office Assistant

20-40 hrs/week; April – August 2024, BR Office, Raleigh, NC 

Position Description:

Broadreach is accepting applications for a seasonal office assistant. This position includes many and diverse responsibilities across multiple aspects of our operation including:  Customer service, mailing, gear management, and other administrative tasks and office errands. The ideal candidate is a college student or recent graduate with an interest in program administration, education and international travel.  Current students may be able to earn internship credit depending on your institution and department.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Help collect, print and organize student enrollment paperwork.
  • Print and organize program materials for summer staff (manuals, paperwork, etc).
  • Order, inventory, organize and ship student gear.
  • Inventory and organize program gear.
  • Data entry and clerical tasks – database clean up, weekly mailings and general office administration duties.
  • Assist with Staff training preparation and logistics.

Qualifications for this position include the following:

  • Candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, motivated and flexible.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Strong customer service oriented attitude required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a tight-knit team and function independently on diverse projects in a fast-paced, dynamic, customer service-focused environment.
  • Proficiency with computer software applications such as MS Office, G-suite required.

Compensation, Schedule and Location

  • Hourly Compensation: $13-15/hr, commensurate with experience.
  • Schedule: Flexible hours to generally occur during business hours.
  • Location: Broadreach Office, downtown Raleigh, NC.
