BROADREACH is a 5 Star PADI Dive Center who has been certifying teens to dive since 1993. For students who are diving for the first time and earning their PADI Open Water Certification, to certifying new PADI Open Water SCUBA Instructors (OWSI), Broadreach offers the most diverse levels of training for middle school, high school and college students in the world.
Broadreach is proud to be part of a day that honors the many accomplishments that females contribute to the sport of SCUBA. To celebrate the 2017 PADI Women’s Dive Day, Broadreach will have hundreds of girls discovering the world of diving on our 70+ global educational adventures in 40+ locations including: St. Martin, St. Barts, Bonaire, Saba, Nevis, French Polynesia, Fiji, Bali, the Bahamas and Curaçao.
Activities for the day include WOMEN’S DIVE DAY themed male & female group dives, certifying new OW female divers, hosting a thank you celebration for our female SCUBA instructors, dive demos for the local communities we visit, conducting video interviews of our female students & instructors about what diving means to them and why they dive, live-streaming our female group dives (where limited reception permits), AND EMPOWERING OUR GIRLS TO BE SMART, CONFIDENT DIVERS and future leaders and role models for the sport of SCUBA.
Read about what diving means to some of our female students and instructors in our 2016 Women’s Dive Day blog post.

Every time I slowly sink under the surface for another dive, I think about how special I am to be given the ability to immerse myself into this underwater world. Besides the fact of feeling just like any other fish in the sea, I dive because it provides me with a deeper understanding and respect of our planet.
