Broadreach was such an amazing opportunity and experience. When I first got to the airport In St. Maarten, I immediately had other Broadreach students to talk to. The same thing happened on our boat. There were 11 students on my boat and, to me, we were like a little family. I made friends that I know I will never forget, and learned things in a way that I've never learned them before. All in all, this was an experience filled with memories and lessons that are irreplaceable. Jaycie B. Broadreach

When I decided I wanted to attend a Broadreach trip in a foreign country, my parents were concerned for my safety. Now at the end of the trip, I see how incredibly safe our group was at all times; with Broadreach, parents and students have nothing to worry about. Every experience on this trip was one that will impact me forever. Diving in Saba, community service, and boat living all exceeded my highest expectations. I learned to dive and sail but, more importantly, I learned about new places, people, and cultures. I would hands-down do it all over again and I will carry the memories with me forever. I have never been so excited about learning in my life! Not only did I get to study a subject I love in new and beautiful places, but I got to learn how to sail, scuba dive, wakeboard, and climb mountains. This trip also taught me so much about people in general and myself personally. I truly made friendships that will last and memories I will never forget. Diving is like no other around the world. The professionalism and safety measures taken by the instructors helped make the diving as fun as possible. Cliff jumping was one of the most exhilarating things I've done. I highly recommend this trip to anyone craving an adventure. Taylor H. Broadreach

Best decision I've ever made! Definitely one of the best trips I've ever taken. The instructors are some of my favorite people. They are there with you every step of the way. The islands are no doubt the most beautiful places I've ever seen. But I miss the people more than the islands, you will make a family in less than one week. Going on this trip is literally living the dream. You're with a bunch of friends living on a fancy boat, learning how to sail and dive…and it's in the Caribbean. Hard to beat. On this trip, I've learned how grateful I am for small things and that you can live life awesomely without luxuries. Overall, this was a once-in-a-lifetime experience! Allison M. Broadreach

All the islands we visited were full of amazing history on land and in the water. I would recommend this trip if you love being on the water and on a boat. Living on a boat was the best experience of my life. I had no cares what I looked like or what I wore. It gives you time to reflect and enjoy where you are. I learned so much about boats, culture, and diving. One of my best memories was just laying on the tramp looking up at the stars and talking with everyone. I bonded instantly with everyone. This journey has certainly expanded my horizons through its veiled teachings. I have learned how to operate a sailboat and know all of its proper names. I have learned all of the proper procedures that take place in a diving rescue situation. I have learned how to classify fish. Yet what made this venture different from pedantic courses is the ability to make the trip one's own. The chance to navigate for weeks in the open sea without phones, internet, or Facebook and feel ok. Better than ok, feeling superb overcoming those lesser things. I remember my shirt drenched in sweat as we hiked up Brimstone Hill Fort, then once at the summit we felt invincible, powered by the view, by the soothing winds. Waking up at four in the morning for a sail, gliding in the wind, riding the waves, the sun slowly rising. Geared up at dusk to night dive at 'Bird Poop Rock' then submerged in an alien environment with creatures cautiously swimming by. This trip gave me plenty of amazing opportunities but I was ultimately responsible for taking advantage of them. And for this reason, this adventure is one I will never forget.
