“The three weeks were incredible. I met a lot of great people and got to dive three or even four times a day! We did so many cool things such as cliff jumping, hiking, water sports and so much more! Itinerary

Day 1-2

Jump into the Broadreach lifestyle

Meet your crew, grab your gear and board your boat as you settle into life on a 45-foot catamaran in St. Martin! A short sail to Grand Case orients you to the workings of your floating home and the team you’ll be working with for the next three weeks. Splash in for your first check out dive at Creole Rock – it’s a chance to brush up on essential skills and get reoriented to the water.

Day 3-5

Venture to Saba

Our next stop is the beautiful island of Saba! It’s the perfect location to get to work on your Advanced certification and EFR training. Keeping the boat ship-shape is also a responsibility that comes with boat life, but the clean up dance parties certainly make it fun!

Day 6-7

Getting acquainted with Advanced Open Water

A visit to St. Barts is next, a chance to practice tacking the boat and learn about points of sail. The dive sites here are perfect for finishing starting your Rescue Diver training and spotting all your favorite creatures, including barracuda, turtles and lobsters. There’s time for some hiking to a bodysurfing beach, and even a stop in town for some delicious ice cream.

Day 8-9

The Rugged Island

A quick sail takes us to the tranquil uninhabited island of Ile Fourche. Here we put our new rescue skills to the test to complete our certification. We will explore the untouched reef, teeming with brightly colored reef fish, nurse sharks and turtles munching on sea grass as we work towards our Underwater Naturalist specialty. A hike at sunset to the highest peak gives us spectacular views over the neighboring islands.

Day 10-12

One last stop in paradise

Our final destination brings us full circle back to the island where our adventure began, St. Martin. We aren’t ready to head home just yet so we stop off at Tintamarre, an uninhabited natural reserve with one of the most beautiful beaches you’ve ever seen. We’ll have some fun wakeboarding and skiing before we prepare to say goodbye. As we enjoy one final sunset, we’ll reflect on the fun we’ve had and all the skills we’ve learned in such a short amount of time.
