Broadreach Marine Biology Adventures Webinar

High School Adventures, Middle School, Marine Biology

Thinking about a marine biology summer program for your middle or high school student? In this 30-minute webinar, our team breaks down what students actually experience on their marine biology trips and how families can choose the right fit for 2026.

Broadreach offers a wide range of marine biology summer programs for teens, many of which combine hands-on marine science with scuba diving, sailing, and conservation work. Most programs are intentionally introductory, helping students explore different areas of marine biology—such as coral reefs, sea turtles, sharks, whales, and marine mammals—while building real-world skills.

The webinar explains key differences between middle school and high school programs. Middle school trips are fully hands-on and non-academic, while high school programs offer a more structured approach with the option to earn college credit. You’ll also learn what life on a Broadreach program looks like, including travel logistics, accommodations, food, instructor qualifications, safety and risk management, and Broadreach’s phone-free culture.

The session wraps up with highlights from specific marine biology and conservation programs around the world, followed by a live Q&A covering certifications, college credit and student safety.
