Broadreach's Community Service in the Solomon Islands
Broadreach's community service efforts on the Solomon Islands summer 2007 are documented on http://www.projectaware.org/asiapac/english/PAAP/DiveIndustry-News/ ! In case the link does not work, the article read:

US STUDENTS HELP DIVE GIZO CLEANUP AFTER TSUNAMI

Life in Gizo on the Solomon Islands is returning to normal after a massive undersea earthquake triggered a tsunami in April. International students from 'Broadreach' in the USA arrived on an adventure holiday and helped Dive Gizo’s clean up mission.

The kids made a big splash for conservation - as well as conducting Fish surveys and CoralWatch they showed their creative flair painting new dustbins to keep the South Pacific town tidy!

A big thanks to all the students involved and the Adventure Sports Crew at Dive Gizo.
