| We want to let our many diving families know about Kids Sea Camp, fun-filled one-week vacations for families, ages 4 and up, who love the ocean and the wonderful creatures within. Kids Sea Camp is for the whole family with programs for kids’ ages 4-16 years old. The SASY program is for 4-8 years old learning how to snorkeling and experience scuba just like Mom and Dad, but on the surface. The PADI SEAL team program gets 8-10 year olds in the pool with their instructors working on skills and getting comfortable underwater on scuba while having fun too. The PADI Jr. Open Water certification course is for kids 10 years old and up. These kids get certified and become a diver. This is a fun way to learn to dive with other kids your own age. For those kids who are already certified divers, don’t feel left out, there is a great Ocean Discovery Specialty diver program just for certified teens. Dive and learn at the same time with Fish identification dives, coral reef ecology, and underwater photography. Learn about marine mammals and get fishy kisses from sea lions on land and underwater if you’re lucky. Not only do the kids spend time in the water, they also learn about the ocean and its inhabitants through hands-on activities about the marine environment. While the kids are busy doing their thing, Mom and Dad can enjoy some guilt-free diving. The kids won’t even know their parents are gone! All Kids Sea Camp events are hosted at PADI 5-star Gold Palm facilities in many exotic locations around the world. It is fun for the whole family and a vacation that will last a lifetime. All events have something special to offer from encounters with dolphins and sea lions both on land and in the water, feeding sharks and turtles, swimming with stingrays, holding sea urchins and conch, to just snorkeling above a coral reef teaming with marine life.
