Catch of The Day!

Waking up with the sunrise never gets old. We quickly cleared the life lines and prepared to sail. After freeing Dan Marco from the mooring and waving good-bye to the fellow Broadreach boat anchored nearby, we set sail for St. Kitts. It was an exciting four hour sail to say the least. Not long after raising the sails our pro-angler, Cody, was already reeling in the first tuna of the day. For the remainder of the sail the fish were practically jumping in the boat. Though we didn’t have the world’s best fishing equipment, a little teamwork enabled me, Mike, and Anna to drag in three more tuna before arriving at Sandy Point. It’s worth noting that Mike had the catch of the day. We don’t have a scale on board, but the modest estimate was 80lbs. After securing our anchor in the sand at St. Kitts, the crew relaxed and refueled before our first deep dive at Moon Shadow. It was a lively reef with amazing topography. Amy brought down a few props to demonstrate some of the changes that occur when diving 100ft. below the surface. After the dive our cooks prepared Alfredo, salad, and fresh tuna for dinner.

THE END.
