... In with the Blue
Hi everyone!
Today wasn’t one of our most strenuous days because it was a travel day. Sadly, we had to say goodbye to our amazing ecolodge, Casa Cayuco in Panama. However, we had our arrival in Costa Rica again to look forward to. It was a pretty relaxed day that started out with breakfast, and a few hours to pack with the option to go for one last snorkeling trip. After lunch, we got into the boat to catch our first flight from Panama back to Costa Rica. We stopped shortly in the San Jose airport to go through customs and pick up some snacks. We then continued on to our destination of Mono Azul (in Spanish this means blue monkey) in Costa Rica. We were all excited by the lack of bugs in our room and the relaxing and inviting feeling of Mono Azul. We were also thrilled to discover that the hotel had not only one pool, but three! For dinner we had delicious burritos, fruit juice and some fresh salsa. After dinner, we had orientation and a lesson on conservation, which I’m sure will be helpful to us in writing our final project.
Pura Vida!
