College Programs

There is no substitute for real-world experience.

Broadreach takes an entirely different approach to studying abroad. We take college students beyond the classroom and out into the real world. If you’re studying shark behavior and habitat conservation in Fiji, for example, we see real academic value in putting on scuba gear and getting in the water with these incredible creatures. Everywhere we go we look for ways to complement academic theory with hands-on experience alongside professionals in the field. Join your professor to count sea turtle eggs on a moonlit beach. Shadow in-country journalists in Thailand and Laos, learning what foreign investigative reporting is all about. Or take a kayak adventure through the straits of British Columbia and study whales in their natural environment. Yes, you’ll earn college credit for this work. But more importantly, you’ll gain real and applied knowledge of your chosen subject plus valuable field experience for your future resume.

Below you’ll find our latest college programs, all of which include community service hours as well as the opportunity to earn transfer credit through Lesley University and globally recognized certifications such as PADI, IYT and others. Use the filters on the left to further sort by area of interest, destination or schedule. Visit the Broadreach College website for more detailed information about college programs.
