Professional Development Programs

Set yourself up for the path ahead.

Maybe you see yourself running a professional dive operation one day and working as a PADI-certified dive instructor. Or maybe you have aspirations to attend veterinary or medical school and need some practical field experience before you apply. So many of our former adventurers have taken the skills and leadership training they learned with us, and leveraged that knowledge into careers that line right up with their passions. With any of our professional development programs, whether it’s a Wilderness First Responder course in Belize or hands-on journalism studies in Thailand and Laos, our goal is to help you develop and grow, personally as well as professionally, and navigate toward the next step in your journey.

Below you’ll find a list of our professional development programs, all of which include community service hours. In addition, many of the these programs include the option to earn college credit as well as globally recognized certifications, such as PADI, IYT, Wilderness First Responder (WFR) and a 200-hour Yoga Instructor certification.
