Immerse yourself in the world of harbor seals, humpback whales, grey whales, Orcas, Dall’s porpoises and California sea lions that converge each summer on the B.C. coastline.
Join a group of fellow naturalists-in-training to study marine mammals in their natural habitats. Live and work at the renowned Bamfield Marine Science Centre and carry out your own research projects under the eye of professional marine mammal scientists and naturalists. As your knowledge base deepens, your thirst for even greater adventures continues. Sea kayak in remote waters and explore the diversity and abundance of mammals that exist here. Plus, volunteer at the Whale Interpretive Center.
“The small group size was one of the best features of a program of this nature and the group dynamics were perfect!” — Susan Herlong, Sullivans Island, SC
