Escape the textbook. Ditch the Classroom. Your exploration into the soul of the French language and the richness of French culture takes place on the isle of Guadeloupe.
It’s a true slice of France nestled in the heart of the Caribbean French West Indies. This is a place where English isn’t spoken, so prepare for complete immersion. Not only in French studies at our language school, but a completely immersive experience in adventure, charm, color and community. This trek is a 21-day odyssey that grabs hold the minute you set foot in this butterfly-shaped island paradise and never lets go. Hiking volcanic peaks. Kayaking through crystal clear waters. Eating French and Creole inspired food in a locals’ home. Surfing. Sailing. Soaring. Now that is how you learn French.
“Her confidence in travel, cultural awareness, connection to her host family and friends...remarkable gifts from this trip!” — Denise Ratcliffe, Wayne, NJ
The true measure of this trip won’t be the dramatic improvement in your French speaking skills or the college credit you earned. It’ll be measured in the friendships you made, the memories you helped create and the lives of Guadeloupians you touched.
