Instead, a team of six is given the freedom and the tools to create an amazing adventure of their own. Empowered to make decisions, you will emerge as a better leader and a confident and competent traveler ready to explore the world’s endless opportunities.

Broadreach has over 13 years of experience guiding groups in Costa Rica and Panama. We have the inside scoop on trusted outfitters, secret spots, awesome activities, and inspiring volunteer opportunities. Our knowledge and your desire to create an incredible learning adventure become the backbone for the trip.
Before even getting on the plane, your Course Leader helps the team design a communication plan, learn risk assessment, puzzle through transportation logistics, and prepare for Costa Rican culture. Everyone meets in San Jose, and each team of six sets out on its own path. For the first adventure your group may choose an epic rafting trip down the Pacuare, help rehabilitate injured animals, go horseback riding, or count sea turtles.
Groups will then cross paths to share stories and ideas with each other before deciding what adventure comes next. Does the team check out the surf on the Pacific coast or slide through a zip line in a cloud forest? Cruise by an active volcano or chill in a mountain town and volunteer at a local school? Your leader will serve as your guide only after the group decides what road to travel. It takes planning and practice, but that is half of the fun!
Next chapter…… Panama. Cross the border and step into a new level of confidence. Your leader now observes in the background, allowing the group to take full ownership of the adventure. You have the skills and experience to go any direction, and you and your new friends are in control. What inspiration awaits you? What journey will you create?
