There’s a place in the Caribbean where aspiring marine biologists come to live out fantasies. Actually, on this trip, there are six: St. Martin, Ile Fourche, St. Barts, St. Kitts the healthy reefs of Statia and majestic Saba. If it’s in a marine biology textbook, it’s likely out here, in the Caribbean’s Leeward Islands. Set sail for a lifetime’s worth of marine science discoveries and personal achievements and set out to do it all in just three weeks.
Your live-aboard island hop adventure, led by expert marine scientists and researchers, begins in the port of Anse Marcel on the French side of St. Martin. From there it’s off to Ile Fourche, a jagged uninhabited island that buoys a thriving underwater classroom. Watch the sun set over the entire Leeward chain, where oceanography, marine ecology and species behavior will soon come to life like never before.
“I loved how I learned so much and it was fun, so I was interested and it was easy to follow along. I loved every moment!” — Kiera Daley Coquitlam, British Columbia
Explore the habitats of volcanic St. Kitts. Add a pushpin for conservation in Statia’s thriving marine park. Take home schooling and pairing experience from St. Barts. Become symbiotic with majestic Saba. Join a crew of budding marine biologists and map out the research trip of a lifetime.
