This culturally rich city, situated on the river Seine in northern France, has all the set pieces for a deeply immersive, eye-opening experience: art, world-class food, gothic and modern architecture, and a diverse mix of ethnic groups, customs and languages.
Leave the City of Lights and set out to conquer even higher summits. Mont Blanc easily fits the bill. The “Roof of Europe,” as its known, towers at 15,781 feet — the largest in the Alps. Approach it form Chamonix, or Cham’, a charming Alpine town located in the valley of Mont Blanc. Italy and Switzerland are right next door, But everything you came for is right here. As our hiking trails lead up the Mont Blanc massif range, our immersion in French continues to grow deeper.

The Loire Valley. While we can point out famous castles and palaces, or show you where towns like Amboise and Tours are located on the map, we can’t exactly pinpoint where it will happen — the place where you ultimately discover that yes, you can speak French.
