Map
While this looks like an ordinary map of Costa Rica, it isn’t. It’s a one-of-a-kind map, contoured with all that you will achieve in this adventure playground. Starting off in Corcovado National Park on the Osa Peninsula, we encounter a jungle dense with opportunities to master backcountry medicine skills. National Geographic famously labeled Corcovado "the most biologically intense place on the planet." As you’ll soon discover, it’s the most skill-intense place on the planet, too.
From Corcovado, hug the Pacific coast and head to Savegre River region, in the North Puntarenas province. Discover an off the beaten path setting teeming with waterfalls, rainforest, rivers and canyons. Due to the pure springs that flow right into it, the pristine Savegre River is thought of as one of the cleanest in all of Costa Rica. Moreover, the topography of this area is tailor made to pushing and challenging your fire building, animal tracking, and other wilderness skills.
“This trip provides opportunities to learn new skills, work as a team, visit fascinating parts of the world, and have fun! ” — Jacqueline Pleet, Springfield, MA
Make a zip line for Turrialba, a mountain town in the lush Central Valley. Most rafting adventures push off from here as it has easy access to some of the world’s top rivers. Ours is the Pacuare — an adrenalizing rush of roaring rapids. Paddle in and complete a Trainee Rafting Guide certification.
