Where to begin? That depends on you.

Broadreach offers 70+ global education and skill-building summer adventures in 40+ countries for middle school, high school and college students. That’s a lot of different types of programs, and it can be overwhelming to try to figure out exactly where to begin. To make your search easier and more focused, we’ve hand-selected a few programs that are ideal for those new to Broadreach. They require no specific experience of any kind, just genuine curiosity and a willingness to allow your horizon to be blown wide open. You can bet on lots of fun and adventure, but it’s the valuable skills and knowledge you bring home that will have a lasting impact.

Each of the programs below perfectly embodies our unique approach to learning through hands-on experiences out in the real world. Every Broadreach student will earn a combination of community service hours and internationally recognized certifications as proof of their achievements. You may also choose to earn college credit through Lesley University on many programs.

Caribbean Underwater Discoveries Voyage

Our most popular trip is a live-aboard scuba and sailing adventure through the best of the Caribbean. Come aboard with little or no experience, and leave with a newfound passion for diving and sailing, a crew of incredible friends, and valuable life and leadership skills to propel you towards a future of global exploration and self-confidence.

Belize Costa Rica Panama Adventure

On this adventure-filled, multi-sport excursion across Central America, you not only master new skills, you walk away with scuba, emergency first responder and rafting training guide certifications. Top that off with rappelling, surfing, snorkeling and great service projects that bring out confidence and leadership you didn’t even know you had in you.

Peru Spanish & Service

Immerse yourself in Peruvian culture and allow your experiences here to inspire a lifetime of language learning and service. Get outside the classroom and learn real-world Spanish through interactions with locals as you explore bustling Cusco and the serene Sacred Valley, trek through ancient mountain villages on your way to Machu Picchu and give back to communities along the way.

Costa Rica Sea Turtle Studies

Embark on a hands-on study of endangered turtles, here on the largest green turtle nesting sites in the Western Hemisphere. Complement classroom studies with real-world field experience as you assist professional biologists with conservation efforts. Take turtle carapace measurements, diagram nests, count eggs on moonlit beaches and get hooked on marine science, the Broadreach way.
