Earn and learn.
At Broadreach, we believe the best way to study marine habitats, endangered species, cultures, languages or wilderness medicine is to become fully immersed. By combining traditional learning with intensive field experiences, skill building opportunities and a strong service component, we enable students to gain a deeper understanding of their chosen topic in a context that is relevant to the real-world challenges of today.
All of our academic courses are accredited through Lesley University, a diverse, coeducational university based in Cambridge, MA. Our partnership with Lesley enables you to earn college credit in everything from anthropology and international development to natural and marine science, language and more.
In just a few short weeks you can master more skills than you ever thought possible and earn the certifications to prove it. They include: internationally recognized sailing certifications such as IYT Flotilla Skipper or Radio Operator, PADI dive certifications from Open Water Diver up to Instructor, a Wilderness First Responder (WFR) medical certification and more.
Through service that complements each program, make a rewarding contribution while learning how challenges like habitat destruction and poverty affect the communities we visit. Partner with globally recognized organizations such as the Sea Turtle Conservancy, REEF and the Peace Corps. Then emerge with up to 55 service hours for your graduation requirement, college application or future resume.
