Broadreach instructor salaries are typical for the outdoor adventure education field. Compensation varies based on your level of experience, the length of the program and your specific program responsibilities. Along with your base salary, Broadreach compensation also covers round-trip air travel to your program location, as well as to staff training from a major US airport. Meals, accommodations and approved program related expenses are also covered for the duration of your contract period. Instructors only need a small amount of cash for personal expenses while on program.
Please call for specific information regarding compensation for positions that interest you.
Our programs begin in mid-June and typically run through the end of August. Some programs are shorter in duration than others. We usually require our staff to be available June 1st through August 25th.
All Broadreach staff members are required to complete a lengthy staff training. It begins in early June and lasts for a couple of weeks. Attendance is mandatory.
A Wilderness First Responder (WFR) certification is required for all staff. Broadreach sponsors a WFR course in late May. The course fee is dependent on the number of enrollments and will include accommodations.
