Every Broadreach trip is designed to immerse you in the world around you. Our philosophy of learning by doing takes you beyond fun and friendship to hands-on skill building, teamwork, discovery and personal growth. Learn technical skills alongside life skills to prepare for wherever the future takes you.
For decades we’ve been traveling with teens and college students on extensive trips, and it’s taught us the importance of grouping similar ages into small units of 10-14 students. Teamed up with a small number of your peers, instead of a larger number of kids varying in age, you easily get comfortable with your new surroundings, engage in teamwork and form personal bonds that last a lifetime.
So, what should you expect? At the outset of each Broadreach program there are new faces, expectations and unknowns. You may even be a little nervous. But soon faces become friends, expectations become experiences and unknowns become adventures. You make things happen. We are program leaders, not tour guides. You are asked to take an active role, and few things are done for you. Your effort and determination lead directly to success, to knowing you've accomplished a difficult task and achieved your goals.
